I am from Columbus. Nick had two years left of medical school when we got married and, by the luck of the draw, we found out that we would be in Columbus. Then we learned that his residency would be in Columbus as well. See a pattern?? We have never lived anywhere but Columbus! I have always viewed our life in medicine as a "great adventure", but now it really begins...a potential move AWAY from Columbus!Over the weekend, Nick attended his first interview for a foot and ankle fellowship. Emma and I traveled the 7 1/2 hours with him to Philadelphia to see the city and get away. We made a trip downtown to see some sights and get a cheesesteak, of course!
After all of the interviews are complete, we will find out where the Cheney family will head in 2012 to continue our little adventure. Isn't life exciting?!
