Black Belt Test

After two and a half hours of testing, one of my former Kindergarteners (now in 2nd grade) was the youngest in his martial arts school to earn a black belt! I remember all of Nick's stories about his martial arts and different belts he was earning from when I had him in Kindergarten. Congratulations, Nick!

Let it snow...

Hooray for snow days! There's nothing better than sleeping in, taking my time eating breakfast, and playing with the neighbor kids in the snow! It is a super snowy day perfect for staying inside! Stay warm!

Ortho unite!

Last weekend we had a get-together at Dave & Buster's with the guys and wives in Nick's residency program. We mostly hung around and talked, but some ventured out to try the games. Nick kicked my butt in basketball and then we called it a night. It was great to see everyone!
