You know you're a resident on call on New Year's Eve when you...
1. get home from work at 7:00 pm.
2. eat a quiet dinner at home.
3. show off your fancy new outfitt of...clean green scrubs!
4. work on your x-ray conference.
5. toast the new year with sparkling white grape juice.
6. go to bed at 12:03.
7. are snoring by 12:30.
8. are thankful to wake up in your own bed without being paged.

That sounds exactly like our night!!! How crazy of all nights that neither one of them got paged in to Doctors or Grant?!?
Sounds familiar, except I was alone and didn't get to see the scrubs until the next day!
How about being married to a resident who didn't come home from doing surgeries until 8:30 that night and couldn't even stay up long enough to give his wife a smooch at midnight? It was a rough week at West. He went from Sunday evening until the following Thursday (New Year's Day) without seeing the Dash man. It was so sad! Anyway, we feel for you guys! Loves! ;)
